About MeWelcome! I’m a recent graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where I studied Media and Journalism and Global Leadership. This site showcases the stories I’ve told and the voices I’ve helped amplify throughout my career.
Since 2018, I have followed my passion of sharing people's stories and along the way I have mentored many students, run a staff, grown as a writer and formed lasting connections.
At Chapel Hill, I held numerous positions including writing for The Daily Tar Heel, The Durham Voice, Media Hub, reporting in Italy and most recently, working as a Correspondent for the Raleigh News & Observer at the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2025 Super Bowl. In January of 2025, I placed fourth in the Hearst Journalism Awards Feature Writing Competition for a story on the effect of Hurricane Helene. I’m incredibly thankful for the professors, mentors, and classmates who pushed me to grow as a storyteller and dig deep into the heart of journalism. Their guidance helped shape the voice and curiosity behind the work you’ll find here. |
